so it goes..

attempting to complete my MFA in theatre performance, weather the midwest winter, stay sane, keep an outside life & have adventures.

Sometimes, I really miss directing. A lot. I put more pressure on myself as a director than I do as an actress, and let’s face it—it’s easier to see the whole picture looking in from the outside. It was also more fulfilling.  I could be more objective with the things I directed because it was easier to take myself out of the equation.
Basically, I feel like I’m on a creative drought. I went from spending eight or more hours a day working on acting, and somehow, this office job wears me out more than grad school did (okay, not really, but there’s something about it that’s draining rather than stimulating, and that makes for a different kind of tired).
I need to find a way to keep this job, and still make the summer a time to read, draw, take pictures, plan projects..
How does everyone else do it?
