so it goes..

attempting to complete my MFA in theatre performance, weather the midwest winter, stay sane, keep an outside life & have adventures.

I have been more than absent from tumblr as of late! I am living in a surreal world right now, so I apologize. I’m taking a workshop from the man dancing above (he’s 57, mind you, in that video). I’m at Dell’Arte, the school for physical theatre, taking a workshop for dancers/actors with this man, who has danced pretty much all of the roles in Martha Graham’s repertory & I’ve been in awe, and a bit terrified for the last week. Getting my butt kicked feels good & awful all at the same time. 

Personal life is a bit shambly (I know it’s not a word, but it suits) right now as well, and I’m just trying to keep moving. If I’ve learned anything from this workshop, it’s: get your butt up & MOVE. I can’t really put anything into words right now, as I’m still in the midst of it all, but I wanted to stop by, say hello, and share this video, because I think he’s pretty amazing.
